Newcastle University is pleased to offer Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarships for outstanding international applicants who apply to commence full-time Master’s studies
ELIGIBILITY:
To be considered for the 50% scholarships applicants must:
-
- be a national of one of the following countries: Algeria (*), Argentina(*), Brazil(*), Canada, Chile(*), China, Colombia(*), Ecuador(*), Egypt (*), India, Indonesia(*), Jordan(*), Lebanon(*), Malaysia(*), Mexico(*), Morocco(*), Peru(*), Thailand(*), Turkey(*), USA, Venezuela(*)
- be assessed as international for fee purposes
- hold an offer for an eligible Master’s degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2019/20 academic year
- already have or expect to receive the equivalent of an upper second class UK honours degree or above
(*) Awards for these countries have now been allocated and are no longer available.
To be considered for the 100% scholarships applicants must:

- be a national of one of the following countries: India, Ghana(*), Kenya(*), Nigeria(*), Uganda(*)
- be assessed as international for fee purposes
- hold an offer for an eligible Master’s degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2019/20 academic year
- already have or expect to receive the equivalent of an upper second class UK honours degree or above
(*) Awards for these countries have now been allocated and are no longer available.
- be a national of one of the following countries: India, Ghana(*), Kenya(*), Nigeria(*), Uganda(*)
SCHOLARSHIP VALUE:
DURATION: 50% and 100% tuition scholarships
