The Rutherford International Fellowship Programme is a post-doctoral fellowship scheme part-funded by the European Commission under Horizon 2020, through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND scheme
ELIGIBILITY:
- researchers must, at the date of the application deadline (14 October 2016) be in possession of a doctoral degree or have at least four years full-time equivalent research experience.
- at the date of the application deadline (14 October 2016), researchers must not have resided or carried out their main work activity.
- applicants cannot be permanent employees of STFC or Diamond.
- applications can be made by UK researchers who have spent no more than 12 months in the past 3 years working in the UK.
FELLOWSHIP VALUE:
Fellows will be full employees of STFC or the Diamond Light Source. According to experience, you will be paid on STFC Band D (£28384 – £29566) or Band E (£36033 – £37534) pay scale or the Diamond equivalent. In addition, you will receive payments into a pension scheme and other benefits of employment. Each year, you will be able to use funds up to £1500 to support attendance at conferences and meetings, £200 to support attendance at other training events and £1800 to support other research costs.
