ELIGIBILITY:
- Enthusiastic PhD students with strong interests in the central topic
- Applicants should have a firm background in one of the following fields: bioinformatics, analytical chemistry, entomology, neurobiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, plant physiology and genetics
- Applicants must have or be about to obtain a Master’s degree or a qualification equivalent to the German Diploma
- The applicant’s academic performance must be excellent
- Students holding a Bachelor’s degree from a research-oriented institution can also be admitted to the program, if they have shown outstanding ability (e.g. a refereed first author publication)
- Candidates should demonstrate adequate competence in the English language (Please see the link toFAQ on our website for further details)
TASK DETAILS:
The main focus of our school is the use of molecular, chemical and neuroethological techniques to experimentally explore ecological interactions under natural conditions. We study interactions between plants, animals, microbes and their environment, as well as the behavioral consequences of these interactions. For further information please visit the research pages.
