Masdar Institute offers graduate scholarships for eligible Masters and doctoral students for any of their graduate courses. Scholarships are awarded for masters study in: Chemical Engineering, Computing and Information Science, Electrical Power Engineering, Engineering Systems and Management, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Microsystems Engineering, Water and Environmental Engineering, Sustainable Critical Infrastructure and Interdisciplinary Doctorate Degree Program.
REQUIREMENTS:
Masters:
A relevant undergraduate degree in the fields of science, engineering or information technology
A minimum CGPA of 3.0 (on a scale of 4.0) or equivalent (2nd class upper in the British system)
A minimum GRE Quantitative score of 155 (700 on the old scale).
A minimum TOEFL score of 91 (Internet based) or equivalent paper/computer based TOEFL, or a minimum academic IELTS score of 6.5.
PhD:
A relevant undergraduate and Master’s degree in the field of science, engineering or computing and information science with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 in the undergraduate degree and a minimum CGPA of 3.2 in the Master’s degree.
A minimum GRE Quantitative score of 155 (700 on the old scale). Applicants without the GRE but with relevant publications in relevant journal may be considered.
A minimum TOEFL of 91 (IBT) on the international TOEFL or equivalent paper/computer based scores. Alternatively, a minimum academic IELTS score of 6.5.

DURATION: 2 years for masters and 3 years for doctoral candidates
DEADLINE: 1 October (Recurring)
HOW TO APPLY: For the initial application for admissions, copies of documents submitted do not have to be original or certified as true. However, if admitted, you will be required to have original transcripts sent directly from your university as well original TOEFL/IELTS/GRE scores sent directly from the relevant examining body.
Applicants are required to fill in the online application form and submit the following documents in PDF, MS Word or JPF format. Do not upload RAR or ZIP files.
